1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TipsyText ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

TipsyText is an AI-powered text generation platform that helps users write roasts, wedding toasts, eulogies, birthday messages, breakup texts, apologies, and messages for difficult conversations. Outputs are generated by AI and may require editing before use.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate others.

You may not create accounts for automated use, scraping, or reselling generated content at scale without our prior written consent.

4. Free Tier & Pro Subscription

Free tier: Free accounts receive 3 AI text generations per day. Free-tier outputs include a "Generated with TipsyText.com" credit when copied.

Pro plan ($19.99/month): Pro subscribers receive unlimited generations, no watermark on copied text, and full message history. Billing is monthly and recurring.

Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first Pro payment if you are unsatisfied. Contact support@tipsytext.com to request a refund.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TipsyText to generate content that:

• Is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or threatening toward real individuals
• Constitutes targeted harassment or hate speech
• Violates the privacy or intellectual property rights of others
• Is intended to deceive, defraud, or impersonate others
• Contains or promotes violence, exploitation, or abuse of minors

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without notice.

6. Content Ownership

Your inputs: You retain ownership of any text, context, or information you provide to TipsyText.

Generated outputs: AI-generated outputs are provided for your personal use. We make no claim of ownership over outputs you generate. However, because AI outputs may not be copyrightable in all jurisdictions, we recommend treating them as drafts to be edited and personalized.

7. AI Limitations & No Guarantees

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or require editing. TipsyText provides no warranty that generated content is suitable for any specific purpose. Always review outputs before using them in real situations — especially for eulogies, legal matters, and formal speeches.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TipsyText shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TipsyText is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
